The all new CPIM Part 1 is available via Virtual Coaching Delivery!

Scope: Introducing Supply Chain concepts and emphasizing basic terminology, this first of two CPIM modules traces the complete flow of inbound materials from suppliers--through planning processes, transformation operations, and materiel management--and distribution of end items to customers. Get a comprehensive overview of successful operations strategies with a solid understanding of interfaces and cost tradeoffs to optimize customer satisfaction and supply chain performance.

Who Should Attend? Industry newcomers, logistics professionals, and those seeking to advance into management roles should take this course. Anyone active in daily management of production planning, purchasing, logistics, or operations will bring home proven techniques to eliminate non-value-added activities, reduce costs, shorten cycle times, and improve Customer Service.

Schedule: This 32-hour COACHING program is being offered in 2, 4, or 8-hour sessions per week format, based on your convenience. Jerry Kilty, CPIM-F, CIRM, CSCP, CLTD is the coach.

Cost:

  • $1,995.00 ASCM member rate

  • $2,215.00 new member rate (includes one year ASCM Professional Plus membership dues)

Registration fee includes 32-hrs of coaching, plus the following materials:

  • CPIM Part 1 Learning System

  • CPIM Part 1 Slide Deck

  • 1-year online study tools access

  • CPIM Part 1 Exam credit (valid for 6 months with free retake)

Please note, per ASCM regulations, due to this special offer on material and exam credits, the learning system bundle, or any of its components, cannot be returned, refunded or transferred. 

  • Exam credits will be assigned to students' ASCM account so they may obtain an Authorization to Test (ATT).

  • The ATT is valid for an additional 6 months for participants to schedule and take each exam.

  • Participants will have access to the CPIM Part 1 Learning System online study tools for 12 months from the time the bundle is purchased and the license is assigned by the instructor.

  • Candidates will ONLY qualify for the 2nd Chance Exam (retake), when they schedule and take their first exam within 90 days of purchasing their valid ATT and fail their exam. The 2nd Chance Exam (retake), if issued, will be valid for 6 months.

Curriculum: Sessions are highly interactive, with reading assignments, exercises, discussions, quizzes, demos, Web clips, practice tests, plus multiple study tools. The sessions cover:

4. Executing the Supply Plan

5. Inventory Management

6. Continuous Improvement, Quality Management & Technologies

Substantial pre-course Reading Assignments are required for every session, including the first.

Instructor-led virtual sessions will be held via Zoom.
