Scope: The APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) provides a comprehensive body of knowledge, best practices and standards to allow candidates to better respond to supply disruptions, respond to demand variations and manage supply chain risk. Earning the APICS CPIM demonstrates mastery of an organization’s internal operations and an in-depth understanding of materials management, master scheduling, forecasting, production planning and how it applies across the extended supply chain.

Who Should Attend? Industry newcomers, supply chain professionals, and those seeking to advance into management roles should take this course. Anyone active in daily management of production planning, purchasing, logistics, or operations will bring home proven techniques to eliminate non-value-added activities, reduce costs, shorten cycle times, and improve Customer Service.

Curriculum: Classes are highly interactive, with reading assignments, exercises, discussions, quizzes, demos, practice tests plus multiple study tools. Substantial pre-course Reading Assignments are required for every session, including the first.

1. Exam credits will be assigned to student’s ASCM account. The exam credits must be used within 365 days of purchase date.
